Cincinnati Reds Opening Day 2014 will mark the 5th anniversary of our showroom downtown!  We will celebrated with a ride in the parade with our friends from The Bunbury and Buckle Up Music Festivals.  See you at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove for Bunbury in and Buckle Up in July.

Spring is here!!  Cabin Fever has reached it’s height; are you ready to get your glide on?  We have several new routes planned  for you to explore the sights, sounds, and smells of spring here in the Queen City.  With the convenience of online reservations, automated gift vouchers and video camera rentals, it has never been easier to plan and enjoy a glide with Segway of Cincinnati.  Back for this season are  DAILY electric bike rentals;  reserve the liberating Hero Eco A2B Metro online and pick it up at our showroom.  Daylight Savings is here, and  we glide into the darkness, lighting up the night on our evening tours with lights from Light n Motion; the best light on the market, in stock at Segway of Cincinnati.

SEASONAL TOURS AND RENTALS

Cincinnati’s Center City.  

The Banks, Downtown, Over-The-Rhine and Pendleton!
NOW WITH AN EXPANDED SCHEDULE, AVAILABLE ONCE A WEEK
First and Third Sundays @ 8 or 9am, and Second and Third Wednesdays @ 6pm
Back by popular demand, Cincinnati’s Center City route focuses on the City’s growth from an early boom town to the city we know today. We navigate city streets and sidewalks from the river to 14th street, east to west and points between. Enjoy gliding through the Central Business District, the Gateway Quarter and Over-The-Rhine. Learn about Cincinnati’s canal system, the new casino, and the eventual streetcar project. On this tour, riders get a survey of Cincinnati’s Center City neighborhoods, such as The Banks, Downtown, Over-The-Rhine and Pendleton. Discover some interesting facts about our past and learn more about the fascinating changes shaping Cincinnati today. Some highlights include the stadiums, new Riverfront Parks, Fountain Square, Washington Park and Music Hall to name a few.
Book early for this unique experience with local historian Chris Smith. Seating is limited to allow for intimate discussion.  By the end of your glide you will understand why we call him Christorian.

Segway PT and Electric Bike Rentals at Historic Spring Grove Cemetery and Botanical Gardens.  

Segway of Cincinnati and Spring Grove Cemetery are again teaming up to provide a unique experience touring beautiful and historic Spring Grove Cemetery.

June through September
Every Tuesday (except Third Tuesdays) –

Segway of Cincinnati will bring their fleet of Segways and electric bikes to Spring Grove and rent them to the public. You are invited to explore Spring Grove at your leisure on a Segway or electric bike.  Please make a reservation with Segway of Cincinnati at segwayofcincinnati.com or call 513-225-1583.

June through September
Third Tuesdays –

Segway of Cincinnati staff will be on site to provide 15-20 minutes of training before the 90 minute glide of the cemetery grounds. Both a Segway of Cincinnati staff member and a member of Spring Grove’s Horticulture Staff will accompany your group past highlights of the cemetery grounds. You will learn some interesting facts about Cincinnati natives, the growth of the area and the past and future of the cemetery. Helmets are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own. The cost is $70 per person.  Reservations are required. Please visit segwayofcincinnati.com, or call 513-225-1583.

Electric Bike Rentals will also be available on Third Tuesdays.

DAILY ELECTRIC BIKE RENTALS
Announcing DAILY electric bike rentals!  Reserve the liberating Hero Eco A2B Metro online and pick it up at our showroom.  Simply visit segwayofcincinnati.com

and click on  to reserve one of the cleanest, quietest and funnest ways to get around town.  Then head to our showroom for a quick intro and off you go to enjoy the spring breezes on the amazing Hero Eco A2B Metro.  Pedal as little or as much as you like; using the power on demand throttle you can reach speeds of 20 mph without pedaling.  We provide a helmet (or bring your own), lock and maps of the neighborhood and local bike paths.  1 hr/$20; 2 hrs/$30; 3 hrs/$40 per person.  Up to 4 bikes are available.
FULL SERVICE BIKE REPAIR
Bike Repair/Building/Maintenance Services.  Segway of Cincinnati and the The Garage OTR are pleased to announce full service bike repair, custom bike building and bike maintenance are alive and well in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati. Stop by anytime during showroom hours for bike repair drop off services.  Most smaller jobs are ready by the next day.  All repair jobs include a free quote, no work is done until all repairs are approved by the customer.  We can handle your bike repair no matter how small or complex. We offer the best price on tubes in town.   Our bicycle mechanic is on duty Tuesdays through Saturdays 12-5pm.  The Garage OTR is located directly next door to the Segway of Cincinnati showroom @ 10 E.
